STERN, AVRAHAM (underground name, Ya'ir ; –), leading underground fighter in Palestine, founder of the organization later called *Loḥamei Ḥerut Israel (Leḥi).

Born in Suvalki (then Russian Poland), Stern studied at the Hebrew high school there.

The Maghen Abraham Synagogue is an Orthodox Jewish congregation and synagogue, located in the Jewish district of Wadi Abu Jamil in downtown Beirut, Lebanon.
