Charlie Ingram was a national name in the world of bass fishing when the 21st century approached.
The then Columbia businessman and fisherman earned national acclaim through over 35 years of professional bass fishing, and had his own television show, FishingUniversity, that was available throughout the United States.
Ingram was a fixture in every bass tournament trail in America.
He started his professional fishing career on the B.A.S.S. trail and was the first angler to ever win three tournaments in one calendar year.
An eight-time qualifier for the Bassmaster Classic, Ingram was inducted into the Legends of the Outdoors Hall of Fame in 2010 and serves on the Board of Directors for the PAA.
The largest bass Ingram ever caught, weighing in at 12 pounds, was done so while fishing with former President George Bush.
