Dryden Mitchelll was influenced by his dad, who played guitar. Terry Corso listened to Kiss records, learned guitar, songwriting and the drums in a band workshop program. Mike Cosgrove taught himself the drums as a kid and later took lessons.

Tye Zamora's first instrument was the guitar and he practiced by imitating Boston and Queen riffs.
